Although in some future incarnation we may move the whole thing over to Unix and enable ftp access, etc., this is not currently the case. There are ways around long-distance diallup costs (like Starlink or Connect USA), though. The current status of the BBS can be ascertained from the perennial BBS article in the BMUG Newsletter. With over 9000 logons per month, we're always looking for ways to make it work better and provide more services for our members. If anyone has questions about the BBS (or about BMUG, for that matter), please send email to this address.
