I am running White Knight version 11.12 on an SE/30 under system 7.0. It has 2MB real memory and 8 MB virtual (which it does not come near using all of). File sharing turned off. INITs (sic): Extensions Manager, GateKeeper (with Aid) 1.2, Moire 3.02, Daylight(v.?), Turbo Mouse (v.?), ShortCut 1.5. When attempting to compile a procedure, WK first quits the compilation with a numeric error message and then crashes the Mac with a bus error. I am not 100% sure yet, but it appears that this only happens the SECOND time one tries to compile the same procedure. The first try works. I also have not yet tried compiling with VM turned off or with all extensions disabled. I will try those things in a few days. But you could save me some time if it been announced on GEnie or somewhere that WK 11.12 is allergic to virtual memory or to System 7.0 in general. John
