I'm requesting very general info comparing the Ethernet and Token Ring LAN medium access sublayer and physical layer defined in the IEEE 802 standards. Can someone direct me to some docs outlining the merits of either please? In particular, I need to know the following: 1) physical length limitations 2) access time variance 3) medium utilization 4) network control and management 5) mixed and prioritized traffic performance Any help is greatly appreciated.
