I have a problem with the TheNews version 2.02. It is running on an SE/30 (with system 7) and talks to a Sun 3 via a FastPath 4 gateway. The Sun is running nntp 1.5.10. The problem is as follows: I can connect to the Sun and get the list of groups. I also get the correct number of unread and available articles in any group I select. However, if I choose the read menu item TheNews pops up a "Fetching header lines" message for about a minute and then declares "The server has gone south". This happens for goups with just a few unread articles so it is unrelated to the previously discussed problem of having a large number of unread articles. Ideas?
