Tech note #271 April 1990 states: To use the Apple EtherTalk card with a Macintosh IIfx, you should use version 2.0.2 of the EtherTalk driver. Earlier versions of this driver do not perform as well with this hardware. You can obtain a copy of this driver from any authorized Apple dealer, the Developer CD Series, AppleLink [...] and Apple.COM. However, my local dealer doesn't have it. He tried to get it from AppleLink and couldn't find it. It isn't on Apple.COM nor on ftp.Apple.COM. The microcomputer consultants at NYU gave me a disk with EtherTalk 2.2, but the installer states "This installer is only for the Macintosh LC." They have the developer CD's but don't know which one to look on. Does anyone know where to get version 2.0.2? Where is it on AppleLink, or which Developer CD, or where else could I get it? Or perhaps it is missing for a reason. Has it been withdrawn?
