I've just fired up Telnet2.4b11 - MacTCP under a freshly installed System 7 and got a real weird looking font for Monaco 12 point. Before I start fiddling with the System and fonts, can someone tell me why this is happening, especially since I've got Monaco TrueType and Monaco 12 point screen fonts installed in the System. What makes it more interesting is that 9 point works without a hitch, and I don't even have the bit-map for this installed. I'm using Suitcase 1.2.10 opening other TrueType fonts and the bitmaps for the LaserWriter II NTX font set.

I don't know, maybe it has some special characters. Anyway, I removed it with ResEdit and now Telnet uses the System TrueType Monoco and I can go up to 18 point on my large monitor smoothly (I suppose I could go bigger if I wanted to figure out how to add more sizes to the menu).
