Well last week system 7 was expected here in the UK 'next week' so I have a question. We have a network of Macs connected to ethernet via a Webster Multiport gateway. If I export a folder from a System 7 Mac (or whatever the correct term is) do I have any control over which zones can access it? Or can anyone on campus with a Mac connected to ethernet and a list of first names play at seeing which Macs s/he can hack into? I asked Webster about this and they seemed to think I came from another planet. I hope that's because anyone who knows anything about System 7 knows you can and so it's a really stupid question. My fear is it's because they think that passwords provide an adequate level of security.
