Hello Netters, I'm having a hard time choosing between the Gatorbox and the FastPath. Does anyone have a recommendation? Thanks in advance. Jeff

Cayman's technical support for the GatorBox is great. They will help you through everything if you need it. I have not heard great things about Shiva tech support. The GatorBox configuration software is supposed to be substantially easier than the FastPath. The new GatorBox CS is supposed to be even easier than the old GatorBox. Unless there is an overwhelming reason someone can give to go with the FastPath, I don't know why you would go with other than the GatorBox. The new CS configuration with the FLASH ROM takes care of the only problem I had with their engineering (campus-wide power crash could make manual restarts necessary). These are probably 2 of the best LocalTalk to EtherTalk routers on tha market today, so there is no wonder that you are having a hard time choosing between them. The only real advice that I can offer is many people have expressed disapointment with Shiva's customer and technical support. I have heard no such complaints about the Gatorbox.
