[I posted this to comp.sys.mac before I found comp.sys.mac.games... please excuse me if you've seen this before] I have bought, and returned, a copy of Moriarty's Revenge 'cause it wouldn't run on my Mac... if anyone out there can give me an idea why, and how to make it work, I might buy it again! My system: Mac IIcx (it says on the box it runs on a cx!), system 6.0.3 (off the Moriarty's Revenge disk), Radius two-page display (mono). I booted right off the Moriarty's Revenge disk, ran M.R. off the disk by clicking its icon. I get some disk activity for a bit, a flicker of a window (small mac screen sized) as if it's going to start, and then I get back to the finder. If I don't turn off the RAM cache, I get system bomb ID=01. I suspect it doesn't like my display, but I have *no* idea what's really going on. The program is copy protected, which is probably most of the problem. If anyone can shed any light on this, I'd appreciate it. Also, if anyone knows of any nifty Mac games, I'd like to hear about them too, *especially* if they'll run on my machine :-)! I have a copy of Starflight, but it looks like it's going to get old, fast. Thanks all in advance!!! -Eric Feigenson ericf@zurich.ai.mit.edu
