I contacted Brainworks last summer, after quite a detective job in finding them, and they sent me a free upgrade to Chipwits within 2 weeks. Since I no longer had the original diskette, they even let me send in a photocopy of the cover and first two pages of the manual as proof of purchase. Apparently, this was written for a version of MacForth which broke at some system release level. It would be nice if somebody could decide to put this in the public domain so that some kindly hacker could fix it. By the way, the version they sent me only works from diskette (as you mentioned), and ONLY on a Mac Plus or 512KE. The upgrade diskette was not copy protected. - Ben Burch "The views expressed herein are not those of Digital Equipment Corporation."
