Just a quick note; I got The Duel, Test Drive II last week with
the European and California optional routes, as well as Muscle and
Dream Cars, and it's a really fun, really enjoyable driving
simulator for the Macintosh.
What's even more amusing is that you can get speeding tickets, as
well as drive off cliffs and miss the all-important gas stations.
Finally, you can also choose to race down the roads against the
computer in whatever car you designate for it. By default the
mac seems to like a Porsche 949 for some reason.. ;-)
If you like driving simulator games, then this is a great choice
for you! The European driving portion is especially fun too, with
the autobahn being a chance to really push your car to its top
speed (I can average about 140 MPH on that section). I would
also recommend the dream cars set since the Porsche 929 RIF (or
something like that) is quite the fastest and easiest to handle
car in the lot! I can get all the way through the track with
myself in that particular driving seat!
The Duel, from Accolade. B&W only. Runs on my IIci without
problems. Copy protected through an "install" semaphore..
