It is a port by Origin who has been known to do some pretty bad ports. However, it's actually a pretty good port and a pretty good game. Good usage of the mouse, but keyboard can be used as well. It does have some Mac menus, but most of the time you don't use them; that OK with me; it doesn't really need them. The game reminds me a lot of a space version of Ultima IV or so. It's great in 4 bit color. Spaceship animation is pretty neat. Exploring is fun. Copy protection consists of typing in a word from the manual at the start of the game, but only when you restore a saved game, otherwise it doesn't care. It's challenging yet easy to begin.
