Hi all, Anyone know wherte I can find Chris LYE? I bought some games from him through USENET 4 weeks ago....Sent my check, which was cashed, but he never sent the games and is no longer at his old Usenet EMAIL address. I sent the check to him at his parents house in Toronto, Ontario, but there is no phone number there to call them at. Same here, except I bought games from him and received different games! He
probably sent me games ment for someone else. I'd also appreciate any
pointers to Chris Lye so I can straighten this out.

Well, I hate to think it of him, but it looks like we've been had. The game I got from him crashes on starting. Plus, its arrival here timed nicely with his leaving Princeton. (His account worked for mail 2 days before, but not the day after the game arrived.) I doubt we'll find him in any case, I imagine it will be a while before he gets a new net account (maybe even taking off the whole summer before getting a job, lots of people do). Anyway, hopefully he was just sloppy with his distribution and mishandled his disks alot (unknowingly), but in the end, the result is the same. Yours, Doug bonar@math.rutgers.edu

I could be entirely wrong, but there's a chance that he went to Deerfield Academy as his high school. They may know how to get a hold of him. I don't have the number of the alumni office offhand, but directory assistance should have it.
