If anyone has played either of these games, could you please summarize why you like or dislike them? Which is more D+D like? Are there any incompatabilities? thanks.

I played the Bards Tale. I played it on the apple ][ & the Mac. They are 100% compatible, except the Mac version is not copy protected, and no check on hacking you characters. I won't spoil you with hints, but you play with 1 to 6 characters from different races and types. The manual has some hints, bartenders give hints, clues also to be found in the dungeon. I am currently in the midst of playing M&M II on the mac, and have found the game to be pretty good so far. I have played Bard's Tale on an Apple IIgs, and think that Might&Magic has a more organized storyline (people give you minor quests--things like that). By the way, I have just finished up in Middlegate (I believe) and have been able to find Green Messages 1 and 3. Does anyone know where I can find the other two (I have looked around quite a bit)? They seem pretty important. Spoilers appreciated, although I would appreciate if you don't give everything away. Thanks in advance. Bill Hooper
