Has anyone seen this game that Sphere (Spectrum Holobyte) has been advertising? Is it even available yet? If they do as good a job on a driving game as they have done with Falcon, then I am definitely interested.

Spectrun Holobyte had a rather large display at MacWorld Boston and they had a couple of demos of Vette running. It looked like a very good simulation, including accurate representations of streets, monuments and buildings in San Francisco. I think it's been released, but the version I saw at MacWorld looked like it had a couple of bugs (e.g. update problems, an occasional bomb). If it hasn't been released I would expect it soon. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - "Steal my car, shoot my dog, take my woman... - - but DON'T touch my lab kit." - - Hal Herhold hal@athena.mit.edu herhold@rel.mit.edu 6-3 @ MIT - ----------------------"ho boy..." I think it's been released, I talked to the developer for about half an hour one morning before the show opened (being an exhibitor has its advantages...). He said it was fairly close to shipping -- probably mid-September. Ken -- Ken Hancock | This account needs a new home in MA...
