How does one change the snake statue intowhatever you have to change it into? I'd also like to know how to do this on the Nintendo version. -- Stacey Robert Greenstein | Uther Locksley: moderator, pagan@drycas mailing list 35 Lilac Drive, Apt #3 | uther@drycas.club.cc.cmu.edu | uther@drycas.bitnet Rochester, NY 14620 | Insane: Lacking the ability to control one's self.

Those who don't want to see the hints to Shadowgate should stop reading now. O.K. -- for those who remain: Tim: Are you talking about the arrow room as the one with the hole in the ceiling? (or over the archway?) If so, forget about it -- it's just a distraction. As for the rotted bridge, take only the items you absolutely need (i.e., the snake staff). Leave everything else behind or your weight will cause the bridge to collapse. [As for the gentleman who asked about how to turn the snake into a useful item, operate the snake stick on the statue] Finally, you should only need to get across the Troll bridge twice. There is no other way I know other than the spear and the invisibility scroll. After that, you might as well start over since you're not going to get past the Troll.... Hope these help. -shane d deichman "The Ayatollah of Rock-and-Rollah!"
