In fact, since most of Mac's software is uncopy-protected it makes it muich EASIER to do it on a Mac than on any other machine. Believe me, there are BBS's out there that let you download TONS of commercial Mac software. [more stuff deleted] >I only see a real pirate problem in the area of games. True, the Amiga doesn't have the caliber of BUSINESS software that the Mac has, but that's not what it was designed for. What the Amiga lacks in business software it makes up very well in the VIDEO (MULTIMEDIA for you apple people) area. The Mac has nowhere near the amount of VIDEO software available for it and the machine just wasn't designed for it. True, stuff is starting to come out, but at a premium price. Only a "few" serious Amiiga users eh? Why is then that MANY local cable stations are using the Amiga for VIDEO rather than the MAC? Aren't they serious users? After all, they are using the machine for what it was designed for. I will agree that piracy is a major concern in the Amiga area, and yes I do attribute that to the fact that the machine is quite capable at producing high caliber games, but don't think that piracy isn't a problem on any other machine. If that were the case, NOTHING would be copy-protected >Povl Scott BITNET : v092mgp5@ubvms.bitnet INTERNET : v092mgp5@ubvmsd.cc.buffalo.edu
