Sometime ago, I like many others on the nets, downloaded a demo version of Leprechaun. Comments in the newsgroups were very positive, but the demo asked $79 (if I remember correctly) for the full up version... a bit steep for a game price. So I played the demo to the end and forgot about it. Recently, I saw it in MacConnection for $29, so I ordered it. The media, a SONY labeled disk, turned out to be unreadable. So I called the author on a Saturday no less, who courteously and immediately mailed out a replacement that day. The program itself is challenging. It comes with the scenarios from the demo, a main game with over 120 scenarios, a game with many scenarios for kids, plus some additional scenarios, apparently submitted by users. There is also documentation outlining a contest over finishing the last main level. But the feature my kids love most is creating their own scenarios to stump good 'ole Dad! Leprechaun is not heavily advertised, so I thought it's worth putting in a plug for it here. Excellent sound and graphics along with good support. Don't miss it. Disclaimer: I have no association with Shodan other than as a very satisfied customer. -- Maurice INTERNET: lriggins@blackbird.afit.af.mil (129.92.1.2) Opinions expressed here do not reflect those of my employer nor constitute an official position of any U.S.Government agency.
