[comp.sys.mac.games] Risk, ok.

ccastcr@prism.gatech.EDU (Russo, Chris A.) (11/27/90)

Ok, I played Risk with 5 opponents, conservative style. To
tell you the truth, that sux. Everyone gangs up on you. Not
a very fun or fair game.
Not worth anything as far as a strategy game goes.

Following up on the individual who said: "Five conservative computer players...it suxs(!!)"...

This is the only way you will have any challenge in the game. It took me many games to figure out a strategy to beat them all. I suggest you do the same instead of giving up and pouting so all comp.sys.mac.games can see you.

I wasn't saying that it sux because it's too hard. Actually, it's still
easy if you have the patience of a rock. Those many game accumulated
strategies are kind of obvious the first time you play the thing. But
as far as a _good_ sensical version of risk goes, this implementation is
horrible. I think James Preston said really all that needs to be said
about it in an earlier message.

Oh, and thanks for moving this discussion of
a game to a personal, insulting level.
