[comp.sys.mac.games] Monty Python game

vanhemel@eniac.seas.upenn.edu (David Van Hemel ) (12/04/90)

Those of us over in alt.fan.monty-python recently received a posting
from someone over in the U.K. that there is a Mony Python computer game
available over there. What I'm trying to find out is if any of the
game experts on this newsgroup have seen it in the U.S. The person who
posted the article said he saw it for IBM PC and for ST, whatever ST means.
Anyone out there seen it in stateside for Mac? (or even for PC. In this
case I'll settle for PC, being that I'm a MP fanatic even more than I'm
a loyal Mac user.) Thanks.

ST means 'Atari ST'. The game I have is based on '...and The Holy
Grail'. It is written with the EAMON system which used to be an Apple ][
program in BASIC. I would hope that it could be ported to the Mac. The
game files themselves are text and could be used if the system itself were
made available. If anyone wants more info, I can look in the docs and
see what else it says.

The game: "Monty Python's Flying Circus"
	made by: Virgin Mastertronic Limited

Didn't play it much, but what I saw looked fun. Great Gilliam-esque graphics
and characters. Comes with the "Hungarian Phrase Book" and a button.
