Hello! I am seeking beta-testers for a game that I have written. The game is MacSimon, version 1.5. It is based on the classic Simon game, in which the user repeats sequences of buttons lit up by the computer. The game is simple, but can be surprisingly addictive. I will send all beta-testers the game along with full Think Pascal source code, for those who might be interested. The game will be stuffed and bin-hexed. Beta-testers can get their name in the program's About... box, if they so wish. This version of the game will be freeware. The previous version was shareware, but in the interests of the Mac community I decided to give it away for free. I do not expect a major time commitment from the beta-testers, but I will be very, very, very thankful, because I want to be sure to weed out any bugs that might exist, and I also would like criticisms for the next version of the program. I know of no bugs currently in the program. Please e-mail me if you are interested within the next couple of days, as I am going on vacation for five weeks starting on Monday. Thanks! Michael Abramowicz MBABRAMOWICZ@AMHERST (I think it's something like that anyway... check the header to be sure.) PS I'll send beta-testers future versions of the game. PPS I must ask you not to distribute the beta-version of the game, despite the game's message, because I am not 100% sure that the game will be public domain... I may try to sell it, though I am not sure if I would want to sacrifice my morals like that.
