If you are really serious about this, consider carefully that you should try and do this as cheap as possible... I suggest a camping trip (2 man tent). If you want to see the most incredible mountain scenery I have ever seen in my life, try the Bugaboo Lodge, in the Bugaboo Mountains area in B.C. After this, a nice couple of days in Banff, followed by the Pendleton rodeo, and then you should be ready for Vancouver... The scenery is tremendous, the cost of camping is cheap, and if you do it in the fall, before the snow, there are no tourists. (well, a very few tourists...) Patrick Powell P.S.
