[comp.sys.mac.games] Which Game To Choose?

Patricia.O'connor@f555.n161.z1.FIDONET.ORG (Patricia O'connor) (01/04/91)

Hi All,
A surprise was packaged with my copy of 3 in Three, a coupon for a
free game! The problem is, I'm not much of a computer game player, sticking
mostly to solitaires and strategy games like Backgammon or Stained Glass.
So, I'm hoping you can help by telling me a little about the three choices
and perhaps making a recommendation.
The three choices are Defender of the Crown, King of Chicago, and
SDI.
        Thanks for your help.
                        PatiO

Could anyone responding to this please mail me the information or post
it. I think a post would be useful, considering that a good number of
people who read this group are likely to get a free game. Thanks.

Concerning your question about Defender of the Crown, King of Chicago and SDI,
I would definitely choose Defender of the Crown. King of Chicago I haven't
played but from what i've heard, it is just a point and shoot game. SDI I
found lacked a good story line and there just isn't much to it. Defender
of the Crown is a great game which includes both strategy and arcade action.
There is also an intriguing story line which affects certain aspects of the
game. I hope you enjoy!

-Snif- I just got 3 in Three, but I got no suprise in my copy. Is this
some arbitrary thing where they slip coupons in some of the packages but
not others or am I being purposely left out?

BTW - I found 3 in Three cute and generally enjoyable, but it didn't
seem to have the same depth as The Fool's Errand. I think I solved it
quite a bit sooner, too.
