[comp.sys.mac.games] What's the difference between SimCity and Sim City Supreme?

jbnash@vms.macc.wisc.edu (John B. Nash) (01/14/91)

I played Sim City last night for the first time, so I thought I would get a copy
for myself. I notice there is a Sim City Supreme. What's the dif? Is it worth
the extra bucks? What's Sim Earth like? Thanks!!

When I went to buy SimCity, there were seven boxes on the
shelf: two of them were plastered with five decals proclaiming COLOR!,
COLOR!, 32-COLOR QUICKDRAW!!, MacIIci COMPATIBLE, and SUPREME. The
other five boxes had no decals, said nothing about color, and the
color illustrations were "from other platforms."

Needless to say, I bought the SUPREME package for my IIsi. It
contained SimCity v1.2c and the Terrain Editor. (Hmm, I dunno if the
TE was included in the less-than-SUPREME package.)
