Does anyone out there have CURRENT information about SteamExpo to be held this summer at the worlds fair in Vancouver? It seems like every day I hear that such and such a locomotive won't make it after all. The current list of locomotives that were supposed to go but that aren't includes 765, 611, 8444, 4449. Can anyone tell me I have wrong information? If not, what is causing the massive defection from what was supposed to be THE rail event of the year?

Does your question mean that the listed posted about a week
ago reprinted from Trainmaster is already obsolete? I thought
that it was "current".

I called the Worlds Fair info number; they gave me the address of Steamexpo headquarters. Seems that if you send them $6, they give you a subscription to a magazine which details the current state of the event. Apparently, they expect a bunch of last minute changes or they wouldn't go to the trouble of putting out a magazine. I haven't gotten anything yet, but when it shows up, I will post some of the info.
