- Availability: The Sega 3D glasses themselves are a bit hard to come by, but stores do have them for sale, and Sega still sells them--also, they're simple (two LED panels, some wire, a jack) and could be duplicated. - Interface: There is NO MOD to the glasses, only a "black" box costing at most $5.00 to build-> the most expensive part is the stereo connector, or maybe the IC, each at roughly $0.30, the only problem is building them en-mass. - Connection: They connect through TWO PINS of the modem/printer port on the original design, our modified one, only ONE PIN, the DTR pin. No driver is required-it simply involves changing the status of the DTR. You could feasibly connect it to anything else, but why, if it's so easy. The design allows for connecting something else (ie the Mattel Powerglove) to the same interface, so in conjuction with the 3D glasses you have 3D input... (which, again, hasn't gotten anywhere except for some academic dabbling because of the software.) Benjamin Kuo
