Hi, I currently use Falcon 1, but it's a faulty copy and version 2 is supposed to be much better... does anyone know of a way to upgrade without having to pay the full 45 pounds??? Alex (aka Mav) P.S. as a pilot in real life, i can tell you all that Falcon 1 isn't bad... just too bloody expensive!!!

I don't know if the policy is different for purchasers outside of the North American continent, but here all it takes is for the registered user to send in the second ORIGINAL disk and $3.00 U.S.(to cover the shipping costs for retruning it) to Spectrum Holobyte (address is in your manual). I live in Canada and the method worked for me. >P.S. as a pilot in real life, i can tell you all that Falcon 1 isn't bad... >just too bloody expensive!!! I'm not a pilot (yet!), but I know a few. We agree that Falcon 2.2 is about as close as real flight via keyboard as you can get!! A lot of small bugs have been fixed and the HUD displays have been modified slightly, making a bit more sense than they used to. The only thing missing is a set of hydrolics for pitching and yawing my desk and chair! ;) Major D.J. You can get the upgrade from the makers of FALCON by submitting $3.00 (I think) and one of the copy of your disk. If your disk is corrupted, then you may pay only $10.00 for the replacement. You have to contact the company for more info. -- Stephen M. LuShing INTERNET: steve@pinet.aip.org System Development BITNET: steve@aip.bitnet American Institute of Physics Woodbury, N.Y., 11797
