2) The City of New Orleans was written and originally performed by the late
Steve Goodman of Chicago.  His performane is much better than the Arlo
Guthrie version.  It is interesting that Amtrak changed the name of the City
of New Orleans to the Panama Limited about the time that this song was
popular, and has only recently changed it back.  The reason was a major
derailment with a number of deaths while the train was called City of New
Orleans.

3) The Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe was originally sung by Judy Garland in
the movie "The Harvey Girls" set around the Fred Harvey eating
establishments along the AT&SF right of way.
