Could someone tell me what is OIDS and why it so great? Does it run on a b/w MacPlus? The only thing I've noticed on here is that it utilizes the full screen, no matter what size you have (I agree, that would be neat). --mike gleason

The object of the game is to rescue your people who are being kept on various planetoids while avoiding various weapons, ie. homming missles, homming energy balls, regular ground fire, hidden pods, and my favorite the Oid Mother ship. I think I forgot a few others but no big deal. Anyway the game also allows you to build your own planetoids and make them as tuff as you want. I created one that has 37 of your people to resue. <grin> You have to avoid continuosly appearing mother ships, while shooting down the sheilds that keep you from getting your guys and avoiding the buried exploding pods. <evil grin> I designed the damn thing and I even can't finish it. Anyway it is a really well designed game and worth getting. It is also faced paced, and can get quite hairy at times. Pierre (the completely crazy frenchman at the UofA)
