impossible, due to the close maneuvering necessary to play. For the same reason I sorely wish for more increments of rotation on the OIDS ship. Too many times have I wanted to shoot something that was in my line of sight, but i couldnt aim for it since the ship would not rotate the few degrees it would have taken to hit the target. Now with lunar rescue, i think that mouse control was the best choice. In LR, you can rotate your aiming point in many many more intervals than the OIDS ship, very close maneuvering is almost never needed, and the mouse affords a faster response time to new threats. I like having the ship controls on one hand and the weapons controls on the other. Whether or not the use of a mouse is appropriate for an arcade game is depends on the game and cannot be generalized. I think that the correct choice was made on both OIDS and Lunar Rescue. Wes
