I give up. How much population does it require to achieve Megalopolis status? Every 50K after passing Metropolis status (100K) I was just sure that the next boundary was it. So far, I've made it past 350K with no end in sight. My last city has every square inch zoned for something with most zones having medium to high density. Traffic is handled by a sparse rail system so that no land is wasted on roads. I use commercial zones to buffer residential zones from industrial which seems to keep everyone very happy. What else can a mother do? dave wiley uunet!ingr!b11!wiley!wiley

Doesn't the manual say the threshhold is 250K. Maybe they forgot to put it in. :-) dml
