A couple days ago, somebody expressed interest in adventure creation
programs available for the Mac. Here's an excerpt from an appendix
in the "EAR Awards" which may be of help in that regard. By far the
most widely used adventure creation programs are World Builder
(which hasn't been upgraded in ages) and HyperCard (which is the
most accessible -- and this might be the way to go for a classroom
setting, i.e. there have been few simple adventures put out
by young children in HyperCard format, some quite successful such as
the ones Amanda Goodenough put out in her early teens - Inigo the
Cat series, Your Faithful Camel). However, Pewano-Westphalia High
School Math department students did put out P-W adventure
in World Builder format. Here's the list of adventure creation
programs so you might have more alternatives.
