I have just recently bought a copy of Wayne Gretzkey Hockey. I must admit that te game is giving me more problems than I anticipated. First of all, I can't run the game with sounds. If I try to play with the sound on, it will crash after a few minutes. Also, the game does not allow you to play on two floppy drives. This was not listed as a system requirement on the cover of the game. Although in the Player's Reference Guide it is mentioned that a hard drive is required to play the game, it is also mentioned in the same document that you can play by naming a floppy disk "WGH". However, I have tried many times and it still does not work. I am going to borrow a friend's superdrive and copy the game onto a high density disk. However, I am not sure if a HD floppy would run on an old SE with two floppies. This is minor, however, since I only use the game on floppies when I absolutely have to.(I have a hard drive at home) On the other hand, the sound problem is much more serious. I have the following hardware: Mac SE with two 800K floppy drives and 1 meg RAM System 6.0.5 without any INITs, CDEVs, and other junks in my system file. If you can help me with the sound or the high density disk problem, please e- mail or post it on this newsgroup. Thanks in advance. This is a direct quote from the PRG: "When starting, WGH looks in the same folder as the application for the "Teams" and "Images" folders. If either of these folders are missing, the program then searches for a floppy disk named WGH. If this disk is unavailable, or if it does not contain both the "Teams" and "Images" folders, an error message is displayed indicating which folders were not found."
