From article <15679@chaph.usc.edu>, by gford@nunki.usc.edu (Gregory Ford): > A long time ago I saw a program I believe was called TRACON -- basically > it was a game where you were a controller guiding planes to various > airports and clearing them to take off also. I saw it in a local computer > store. I don't know if it was commercial or not, but I assume it was. > > The one thing I do remember was that it was buggy. Does anyone know > what I am talking about? Is there a new version? Who makes it? > Where can I get it (assuming they have fixed the bugs, or at least > the major ones)? The store I saw it at has long since closed its doors. I just got it at Egghead. They had it on the clearance table for $25 (reg $39) and then had a coupon for 20% off all clearance table items, so I got it for $20. I run it on my IIci and it works great. No crashes. Great color. This game (simulation) even comes with an audio tape to train you and a manual. Sorry I don't remember the brand name (I am here at work) but if you send me email, I will have checked it out by then. I think it was by Wescon, Inc or something like that. I would call your local Egghead dealer to see if they still have it. --Bruce bruceh@pdx.mentor.com -- *** These are my opinions and not necessarily those of MGC *** Bruce Holm / (503) 626-7000 Mentor Graphics Corp. / USENET: bruce_holm@mentorg.com Beaverton, OR 97005-7191 / UUCP: ...!uunet!mntgfx!bruce_holm
