Not being in possession of any great reflexes ( even when sober ) I foolishly went out and bought Space Rogue. I can't for the life of me navigate the 'slalomn' gate sequence. Is there any way round this or must I suffer this or sell the damn thing. Wish they would put this sort of thing in the reviews as for me the whole game has been rendered useles. Any help or spoilers welcome. Peter Hi Peter "You're doing computing as an ARTS degree!" I'm assuming you've made the jump and are trying to navigate the wormhole. Given that, try and make the run at a speed of 10-15, at least with the basic ship. Keep the cursor (if I remember the game right) nudging the inside of any curve of the wormhole. (I assume you're navigating with the mouse.) If this doesn't help, try FTPing a copy of SpeedChopper or Sludge from 36.44.0.6 (the Sumex archives.) This will let you slow your machine down.

Hi! I need help badly! I've been playing Space Rogue on and off for a couple of months, but I can't seem to pass the Pilots' License test given by Orellian...The last question gets me all the time (something like: "What do all pilots swear by....?"). I've given Orellian the statue from Sir Eld, and even that doesn't help....Someone even told me to bribe the dude, but I don't know how to using the "other" option..... can anybody help me get a license? I'm sick to death using this wimpy laser! Young Sul Project Athena, MIT

I've gotten up to the part where Avenstar asks you to find Targon, but now I'm stuck. a friend of mine told me the insane man is Targon, but what are you supposed to do to him? I've tried "targon","rayson", and "ferret", but none of these works.

You have to be quick to avoid the radioactive monster, but a small vial (or something like that) can be found in a small room to the left. When you see Targon next, use the vial on him and say "Targon" Philip W. Allen texdude@buhub.bradley.edu /(?)\

I'm close to finishing the game. I got the Malir egg, but need to find the transmuation coil for the warp drive. Can anyone tell me where it is or how to find it? I'm also missing the null dampner and haven't been able to locate "maid". Any help on these would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance T.C. .
