I'm looking for a good role-playing game/adventure for the Macintosh. Well, I might actually have one now, but I wouldn't know it. What I really need is a fairly easy RPG - one suited for a novice. You see, I recently purchased Bard's Tale for the Mac, and I've enjoyed it to a point. However, it's proving to be very difficult for me - I'm not quite sure of how to approach the thing. So what I'm looking for is an easier (smaller) game that I can play to "get my feet wet" in this genre. A public domain program would be great, as I'd like to try and finish Bard's when I'm more experienced. However, any and all recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks for the help, David.

[request for an 'easier (smaller)' RPG than Bard's Tale deleted] I suggest you try Theldrow. It's available at sumex. It is quite a bit smaller than Bard's Tale. Once you get that, try these series: Might and Magic (II is MUCH better than I) Wizardry (only the 1st two are out; dungeon exploration. The grandaddy) Ultima (only II and III are out for the mac, but good games nonetheless)
