I downloaded the Empire Builder Demo this week and put it together, much to my academic woe. I really enjoy it, but can't seem to open the Demo Manual document. The Get Info window just calls it a "document" and Edit 2.0 and MWord 4.0 both fail to recognize it in their Open windows, both regular Open and Read Only modes. How can I read the instructions? I need some explanations about commands and such. Does anyone know if you can create new units for this game? I played XCONQ (and posted a stupid message and retraction recently here) and we had an atomic bomb that took out anything it hit but took 50 rounds to build. Also, there was a distinction between capitol cities and normal cities - capitols were tougher. And I also played a "futures" scenario, with hovercraft, flying saucers, etc. Is this available for Empire? Finally, can someone tell me where to find a demo copy of Strategic Conquest? I'd like to compare the 2 side by side before I register for one.
