[comp.sys.mac.games] LOOM for the MAC??!!!!!

broimola@abo.fi (04/14/91)

Someone asked something about LOOM. Is this the Lucas Games LOOM that is
available atleast for the PC? The game/interactive animation where you are a
magician and have to find and play certain notes to cast spells? I have been
wondering if this game was available for the Mac, seems so now, or are there
two different LOOMs?

Same game -- I saw it last week in a local computer store. I haven't played
either the PC or Mac version (yet! :-)) so I can't tell you how they compare.
I also have no idea about availability in Finland...

No, it is the same Loom, though the graphics have been ported directly from
EGA (yuck). However, the animation is quite good, and the story is well done.
It is meant for beginner or intermediate level gamers. (I solved it in only
a few hours) If anyone is interested in buying a hardly used Loom, drop me a
note. :)
