I've been playing Fool's Errand and have just about completed the first phase of the game. I have 5 pieces left to get in the Map, one of these being the Queen of Cups (or is it the Queen of Pentacles--as I sit here I don't remember). It's the infamous puzzle where you have to count down from 99 to 1, which then gives you this eye. Before you can complete this puzzle you need to have the "key" cursor. I had got this earlier in the game after solving some puzzle (I can't remember which one it was). Well, I was then able to go to the Eye and touch the key in the middle and that gave me another puzzle, a flashing mass of black and white squares. I was unable to figure out how to solve this puzzle so I returned to the scroll. It was then I noticed that I no longer had the Key cursor. Rather, it was the standard arrow cursor. When I went back to the puzzle I had just left, it was back to the 99-1 puzzle, which I had already solved. I grudgingly did this puzzle again, which gave me the Eye again, but because I didn't have the Key, I couldn't proceed. I have tried everything I can think of to get the Key cursor back but to no avail. I've tried resolving all the puzzles that can be resolved, like the mazes for example. Nothing has worked though. I would really appreciate if someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong so I can continue with the game.
