   OK, are there ANY games out there other than SolarianII that take advantage
of 24/32-bit color or large monitors? (16")

One of the best has to be OIDS from FTL which works fine on my IIfx with
19" colour monitor (it uses the whole screen!). No compatibility
problems, works under MultiFinder - nice work FTL! There's an
OIDS demo floating around which is worth checking out before you
buy...
