[comp.sys.mac.games] Two questions

Hi,

I have two completely unrelated questions I would like to ask you gamers out
there:

1) I've noticed a lot of people have been recently discussing Dragon's Lair
for the Mac. Is this just exaclty like the old video-disc game that took
the arcades by storm years ago? If so, is it a CD-ROM game or did they
somehow manage to cram all of the graphics on to a dinky floppy?

2) In following this newsgroup for the last few months I noticed that not
once has anyone ever mentioned the game Block Out for the Mac - for those
of you who don't know, it's exactly like the arcade game of the same name
that I loved but no one else seemed to like much; oh, if you've never seen
the arcade game it's really just 3D tetris, and is, as such, quite a bit more
challenging and interesting than old 2D tetris. The version I have I bought
in December of last year and its one tremendous drawback is that it is in
B&W only, which is bad because the game principle relies pretty heavily on
being able to discern one block level from another as you look down into the
pit - the arcade version color codes the levels so it's easy there - and this
is more than slightly difficult in B&W. When ordering the game I asked why
no color version was available, and I was told that it was written somewhere
in eastern europe and that they hadn't gotten color macs out that way yet, but
that a color version was soon to come. My question is, then: has anyone seen
a color version of Block Out for the Mac yet? (note: this game is a TRUE 3D
tetris - i.e. the shapes you are dropping exist in 3 dimensions, unlike
Welltris)

Thanks,
Roland
