develop commercial entertainment and educational software. Dues for
shareware authors is discounted 50% off the regular membership rate.

covered in Home & School Mac and types of shareware programs to be
included on the disk mailed bi-montly to members.

The GAMER Project is seeking official status from Apple Corp.
as a registered user group and will be established as a non-profit
corporation (so that we can take advantage of non-profit organization
mailing rates) should the membership continue to increase.
The group is governed by a 5 member Board of Directors whose talents
and service to the Macintosh game/education community will insure that
the GAMER Project both provides a quality user group experience for its
members and promotes the prosperity of shareware authors & commercial
developers alike.

An Advisory Board has been appointed by the Board of Directors, and
additional advisors will be appointed as the need arises. Members of
the Advisory Board come from all backgrounds: shareware authors,
educators, commercial developers, commercial/hobbyist sysops, and user
groups.

The Board of Directors encourages close ties with representatives
of every developer of Mac entertainment, education, children's
software, playing no favorites with any particular developer or
commercial information service.
