I've experienced a problem with a PlayMaker Football team that I've been working on. During "Game" mode, when the computer is playing my team against another computer-coached team, P.M. Football "locks-up" every so often. It happens during the huddle when my team is on offense, and seems to occur during long yardage (10-14 yards for a first down) situations. The bug is sporadic - it may not happen for an entire game, or it may happen frequently, to the point where I have to "Save" after every set of downs to avoid replaying too much of the game. This problem seems to require rebooting or use of a debugger to return to the Finder. This never occurs when a human coaches my team. I recently updated the Artifical Intelligence of my team, so I would speculate that the problem is with the play-calling software. I tried all my plays on the Practice Field, just as a stab in the dark, but didn't observe anything unusual. I also tried re-installing the game and the entire "Locker Room" folder, but to no avail. Oh, it's running on a IIci with system 6.0.5, Finder, and running without INIT's doesn't seem to help. Anyone else suffer from this malady? The "Bombardiers" are getting stiff muscles from inactivity! Please help. E-mail is better. -- Coach Ed Prosser prosser@cs.wisc.edu UW-Madison C.S. Dept.
