I am very Happy to announce that Pipe Dreams, and Beyond Dark Castle both work on my Mac Plus (1985), and on the newer LCs. In fact, although Pipe Dreams is in B&W on my Plus, it is in vivid Colour on an LC. To play Beyond Dark Castle, you must put your monitor into B&W mode -- but its still the best arcade type game for the Mac IMHO. Arkanoid didn't like the LC, although the message was a complaint about high memory - without any inits or cdevs other than the standard system cdevs. It works great on my Mac Plus, though, and is simply beautiful. The arcade sound effects of the real game have been reproduced exactly. And with the exception of clolour, it is exactly as the arcade version, with a few extra goodies - like: starting at any level from 1 - 20, being able to slow down the ball at any time during play (this is very handy). Pipe Dreams Revisited:: It has an interesting way to allow you to start at higher levels, than to play from the beggining. When you finish a group of levels, and reach the bonus round, you are given a 4 letter password, which can be entered at the top-10 menu to skip the level you completed. I'm getting beter, I've gotten to the 3rd password. So Long and Thanks for all the Fish...
