I asked a week ago about Mac games which allowed modem play. For those who are interested, here is a list of the games which do so (there may be others that I haven't heard of): Battle Chess (available either now or very soon) Vette! (Spectrum Holobyte) Falcon 2.0 (Spectrum Holobyte) Stratego Racquetball II Armor Alley (Three-Sixty Software) RoboSport (Maxis) NetTrek (a little unclear on this one) Thanks to the following people for replying (and to anyone else that I may have missed): A.K.Burton@massey.ac.nz (Allan Burton) hlsw_ltd@uhura.cc.rochester.edu (Dave Hollinsworth) ASB110%PSUVM.PSU.EDU@CUNYVM.CUNY.EDU (Andre Sean Brown) sdlg1103@uxa.cso.uiuc.edu (Steven David Lawrenz) JACKSON%CIIT85@ciitip.ciit.nrc.ca (Dick Jackson) creeds@u.washington.edu (Ron Legere) -- See ya Nigel. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Nigel Stanger, Internet: stanger@otago.ac.nz c/o University of Otago, P.O. Net Trek can NOT be played over a modem, only an appletalk net. jtsweet@uokmax.ecn.uoknor.edu

Well, these comments may be a bit late, but I highly recomment Mac RoboSprot opps!... that's RoboSport for a game in general, but also for modeming. It's great fun and I just have to rub Steve's (at Maxis) nose in it, we KILLED Maxis at their own game in a contest between their QA Department and my company, Testing 1, 2, 3... [Steve, I hope you see this. You still owe us a case of beer!] Also, we have tested Mac Armor Alley and this is a good one too. Less stradegy involved, but good action.
