I'm having trouble running Oids on my Mac IIsi. Whenever I play Oids I get a System Crash: Bus Error. This happens on all levels except Novoids. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and/or has a solution for me. My machine is running 6.0.7. I'm running the Finder, not multi-Finder, with no INITs. I even booted off a floppy system disk that can with my computer (also 6.0.7). The computer will bomb both in B&W and in color. I've turned off the ram cache. I've set the computer to boot up in B&W to save memory. In fact I've done everything I can to save memory since I only have two megs of ram. My monitor is the Apple 12 inch RGB. I'm using the built in video support. I've contacted Software Heaven and they were unable to help me. They tested Oids on an si but it wasn't the same configuration as mine. I believe their machine had an 13 inch monitor and was using a video card. They also had more than the standard two megs on the si. Software Heaven, this morning, told me they couldn't solve my problem. They want me to mail back my disk and they are going to send me a new disk. I guess they think it's bad media. What I probably should do is buy more memory. I'm pretty sure that should solve my problems. But I'd like to be sure before I start shopping for simms. If anyone has any ideas please e-mail me.
