I've got a hardly-been-used copy of Space Quest III that I'm looking to trade for something nifty. What I'd really like is Bane of the Cosmic Forge or the color version of either Fokker Triplane or P51 Mustang, but I'm open to suggestions. Space Quest III is the newest Sierra game, and is the first Mac game to use their new SCI interface. What's that mean? That means that the graphics no longer look like a blocky EGA game. Most of the graphics are rendered in single-pixel resolution now, and they look fantastic. The new interface also means better music. MUCH better music! Indeed, the music in SQ III is some of the best I've heard my Mac produce. The soundtrack for SQ III was written by a member of SuperTramp, and it's delightful. The game is a lot of fun. It's up for trade since we finished it this weekend. It's not as difficult as some Sierra games; it makes a wonderful introduction to Sierra adventures because of that and the great graphics and sound.
