Does anyone in netland know where you can get glypha II from a ftp site? It was in the info-mac archive-queue, but it was never archived? I tried using archie, but no luck. Does anyone no where I can find it? I interested in how well the color was done. Later, Ed,

To avoid problems, here is the full pathname: mac.archive.umich.edu/mac/games/arcade/glyphatwo.09.sit.hqx For beginners that's: ftp mac.archive.umich.edu Username: anonymous Password: your-name-here cd mac cd games cd arcade get glyphatwo.09.sit.hqx john calhoun

GREAT JOB!! I don't know how tough it was to write Glypha II for a color machine but it is really great. Good use of color. I used to love Joust back in college. Now I basically have the same fun at home. Well worth the shareware fee. My check is on its way! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ed Payne | Harris, GASD | If I only had more than epayne@x102a.ess.harris.com | Melbourne, Fl | 3 lines....

Stock Mac II, System 6.0.7. I played a couple of games, and it worked fine. When I played the third time, the jouster would not respond to the keyboard until the timer finished and the jouster stopped flashing. If the flapping was done while the jouster was flashing, all the keystrokes are then spit out at blinding speed. Annoying, when the screen is filled with enemies. You cannot control it until the stored keystrokes are played out; you end up ramming yourself into an enemy jouster from below. I've noticed this too, although if you press the mouse button, the jouster will go, and all those stored up commands will be spit out just like above. I'm not really sure what's caused this. I'm not really sure what's caused this. I'm running System 7.0 Thanks for the feedback. I've been working on 1.0 this past week off and on. You can bet this little "feature" will go bye-bye. Don't worry about your set up (I'm running Sys 7 too). What I *don't* do is flush out all the 'flaps' that you accumulate. As per why the space bar is not recognized as a "release me" signal, I've never encountered this. I'll sift through the code though and see if I can't make this more reliable. So now I'm wondering - is that it for bugs? Only that? Wow. BTW I'm also trying to shave a few milliseconds here and there to pick up the game speed when you get over two enemies (past level 10). john calhoun
