A recently saw an absurd and silly Amiga game called "Lemmings." The object is to get a group of lemmings to the cliff so they can jump off it. You help them overcome obstacles by assigning different roles to different lemmings: tunneler (3 types -- up, down, and diagonal), bridge builder, parachuter, blocker (prevents lemmings from going that way), and a few others (including "detonate," to blow up a lemming). All in all, a fun and weird game. In feel, it's sort of a mix between Loderunner, Pipe Dream, and Dark Castle. My question is (and no, I did not write this to say "Yay! Amiga is cool!) -- is this game available for the Mac? It could easily be ported, I think. The format for the Amiga uses the mouse for everything, and the graphics are simple enough that any level Mac should be able to handle it easily. Just a-wondering, Dan Bongard dbongard@sdcc13.ucsd.edu
