Thanks to all for their comments about how to change Spaceward Ho!. I think I've go more than enough to go on. It will probably be released sometime in the late summer or so; I'll let you know. Some people have asked how to obtain Spaceward Ho! 1.1.2. It's available from Delta Tao Software, (408) 730-9336 for $35 and from Mac's Place. Not to disagree with all the wonderful suggestions for additions so far, but I like the speed the game moves at now; I'd hate to see a lot of additional detail cause it to take twice as long to do a move. I have nothing against options for things like more detailed combat, but I personally like being able to resolve battles quickly. I never seem to have all that much time to play as it is! With speeding game play in mind, there is one feature I'd like to request. I love the way that scouts are automatically put into seperate fleets, but I generally create new scout types (REAL cheap, but long range & miniaturized) and would like them to behave the same way. How about any ship that isn't a colony, and has weapons+shields < 4 be treated as a scout?
